New HIV pandemic wave in Tripura: 800 students positive and 47 dead

Recently shocking news came from Tripura State AIDS Control Society (TSACS)  that around 800 students tested HIV positive and around 47 died in schools and colleges. Well, it is not a normal situation to find such a huge amount of youth fighting with a deadly disease.

Well, people are only aware that HIV is a sexually transmitted disease but several reasons can spread it. like blood transmission, used needles, particular drugs and the least that you know.

Meanwhile, in the Tripura HIV case, students indulged in drug activities, and they were found to taking intravenous drugs. However, most of the infected students belong to privileged affluent families [government officers families]. To date, they come to know this, but it’s too late.
