Samsung One UI 7.0 provides separate settings for the AOD and lock screen

Samsung One UI 7.0 will debut with handy features to manage security and other lock settings, which will help users operate settings accordingly. Meanwhile, Samsung One UI 7.0 comes with separate settings for AOD and Lock screen, allowing users to change both features via the GoodLock module.

Well, these new changes in One UI 7.0 will make users happy as in the Samsung community some users demanding that the Korean tech giant release a feature to hide notification icons on the phone’s AOD screen.

However, with the upcoming Samsung One UI 7.0 software version users can hide and show notification icons on the lock screen and AOC screen independently. Rather than this, the forthcoming software version Samsung allows users to change the location and side of the clock and other UI elements for the Always on display.

GoodLock Manager posted on a community forum that:

For S24 devices that currently support full-screen AOD, notification on the AOD  screen and lock screen are integrated, so the lock screen notification settings are applied identically to the AOD screen.

However, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the notification items remaining the same as before in the LockStar AOD edit screens. In the next OS, we will support individual settings for notification items on the lock screen and AOD screen.”
